“Your biography—that is, the experiences that make up your life—becomes your biology.”
― Caroline Myss, Anatomy of the Spirit: The Seven Stages of Power and Healing
Yoga Therapeutics believes in our capacity to rewrite that biography, in essence to change
one's own biology. It is in the changing of one's own biology that true healing can begin.

Yuliana Kim Grant took her first yoga class in LA. The challenge of it humbled and intrigued her. As her teacher has said many times, she came to yoga because of a want, but has kept returning because of a discovered need. It was her own practice serving this need that she experienced first-hand the therapeutic and healing powers of yoga.
She is RYT 500 and E-RYT 200. She is a student of Prema Yoga Institute, the first IAYT approved school for yoga therapy in New York City. She will be certified as a yoga therapist under IAYT by 2020. She currently works with private clients at Pure Yoga, utilizing all of her training as a yoga therapist whether it is helping clients with chronic back pain, helping clients manage stress, or helping them manage any number of needs that brings a client to therapeutic yoga. She makes sure each session is tailored to meet the physical, emotional, and mental needs of each client. She teaches group classes at numerous Equinox studios around New York City. Her classes range from power yoga, vinyasa yoga, Yin yoga, and restorative yoga. She previously worked at Kula for Karma as a New York City Program Director.
